The Hot -dog weekend outing was a success. First I would like to thank you the members for making it a wonderful weekend.

I would also like to thank Chris, Michele, Pat, Laren, Lonnie and Shirley, and everyone else who helped set up tear down to make this one of the best outings we have had. The weekend outing began on Saturday morning at the shop with members arriving before 8:00. By 10:00 we had stuffed ourselves with donuts and coffee and headed up to the Princess Queen claim. Most members prospected in a area we had not prospected before and some found some nice color.

Chris, Pat and I made every effort to visit with each member and ensure their gear was working properly and offer our advise and knowledge. I also want to thank Keith, Mike, Lonnie, Jesse, and all of the members who shared their knowledge with other members to make this a wonderful outing. We returned to the shop around 2:00 to find that Laren had the grill smoking and hot-dogs flying. Several members arrived Sunday Morning at Sahara's Pizza for breakfast.

If you have not been to Sahara's Pizza for breakfast you do not know what you are missing. We once again met at the shop at 9:00 and departed just before 10:00. Chris, Pat , and I led members to the Index and Rapid River claims. Due to the rain not much prospecting occurred but great times were had by all. In closing I again want to thank you all for making this a great week end and look forward to our next outing June 11th and 12th in Liberty.
