October Hootenanny meetings for our North Enders will be help Wed October 3rd, 7pm at Alfy's Pizza off Hwy 2 in Monroe. For the South Enders, your meeting will be held at the Round Table Pizza in Federal Way, 7pm Wednesday October 17. These meetings are always fun-filled, discounted food and seats fill up quickly. Please make sure you are an active store member to participate in our awesome fun raffle & meet your fellow prospectors plus members!

As of right now 9/15/12 access to Liberty either way off hwy 97 is closed due to fires. Do not attempt at this time to head that direction. All of the area has been on evacuation alert and Liberty itself has been evacuated.

It is the penal code that if presented to any law enforcement officer that will allow & require him to make an arrest on claim jumping.

Saturday October 6, we will meet at 9 to 10am at the Gold Bar store to head to the creek with our geologist/guide and learn the basics of gold panning. Master the gold panning technique and learn what to look for and more. Panning correctly and knowing what indicators to look for is very important in finding and securing your gold! It should be a beautiful day, so gear up and come in before 10am, or better yet, call the store and reserve your spot. Pre-pay to make sure you can get in on these classes. $25.00 for 4 hrs per adult, under 12 yrs-FREE! Class space fills quickly.

Please remember the law! Fill in and reclamate your prospecting areas and holes after you are done prospecting. If you are not done, you have 48 hrs to return to that area. If you are done it is the law to fill them in.
